Lakeside Quantum Dialogue is an event, where new ideas related to quantum information are presented in a form of engaging talks and then discussed while walking by the lake. The surroundings of the Faculty of Information Technology provide a great environment for this immersive meeting. The event is orgnized by the QIC-team and this year links to the activities around BEQAH-project. The event is sponsored by IQM.

Attendance to this event is limited to invited participants.

Locations

If not otherwise stated, the talks will be at the Jyväsjärvi room.

How to find the Jyväsjärvi room:

Find the Jyväsjärvi Lake.
Find the Kielo building, address Mattilanniemi 6.
Enter the building, walk ahead through the doors, do not make any turns.
The Jyväsjärvi room is located near the restaurant area.

Find the university bridge. Then just follow the path in your chosen direction.

Agora is the main building of the Faculty of Information Technology. The street address is Mattilanniemi 2.

Piato is a student restaurant located in Agora. The easiest way to access the terrace of Piato is to approach from the lakeside of Agora, where you'll see the terrace. Alternatively, you can enter Agora through the main doors, and Piato is located on one side of the entrance hall.

The Ylistö restaurant is located at the Physics campus on the side of the lake opposite to the Agora building. Find the university bridge and go to the red dot indicated on the map below.

Turn left and go uphill to the parking lot.
Cross the parking lot until you almost passed by the building.
Enter the YFL building to you right, where it says Fysiikka.
Follow the stairs up to the third floor and go straight.
The restaurant is to your left.

The easiest way to Sataman Viilu is to start at Agora and follow the path along the lake towards the harbor. Go through the harbor and just follow the path until there is a building with black, wooden facade in front of you. That is Sataman Viilu.

You find the ice cream stand next to the university bridge on the lakeside of Agora.
The beach is located a couple of meters further away from the ice cream stand. Stay on this lakeside and go into the direction opposite to Agora. You just need to follow the path and there will be a small beach to your left.
