Economic and business history at the University of Jyväskylä compiles researchers interested in long term development of wellbeing, economy, economic ideas, business, and organizations. We are especially interested in comparative approaches to better understand development of Finnish economy, society and industries.

Multidisciplinary Economic and Business History -group at the university of Jyväskylä includes researchers of history, management and economics. We are specializing topics such as management and organizational history, business and industrial history, economic crises, growth and wellbeing, maritime economic history, history of economic ideas, gender and economy, and corporate political activity in historical context.
