The tasks of the study course are to acquaint students with theories explaining violence and radicalization, as well as violence and radicalization types, to analyse the roots of violence based on certain cases, understand the mechanisms of radicalization, and to stimulate students to participate in sociological research or development of prevention strategies.

  • Lecture Schedule: online lectures held during November and December 2025 - 5.11., 12.11., 19.11., 26.11., 3.12., 10.12., 17.12. at 17-20 CET / 18-21 EET.

This 3 ECTS synchronous course will be delivered entirely online (materials available in the FORTHEM Digital academy and lectures in Teams).
