Esittely
Minna works as a PhD researcher in the Environmental Management research group at the University of Jyväskylä. Her research focuses on studying the sustainability challenges of long-distance travelling in Finland. She pays special attention to the incremental and radical change proposals that are presented in response to the urgent need to reduce the environmental load of the sector. Moreover, she investigates how the demand for transportation services is created within Finnish society.
Currently, she also participates in a forestry industry project (OPTIMI1) that studies how to report scope 3 emissions from organizations´ value chains.
Previously, she worked as a sustainability professional in the public and private sector where she designed and coordinated, for instance, circular economy and smart commuting related activities. She has an international working background from Spanish speaking countries.
Minna has done a research visit at Post-growth Innovation lab in Universidad de Vigo, Spain (2024).
