“Queer Life” -projektiin haetaan osallistujia FORTHEM-allianssin yliopistoista: Verkkoinfotilaisuus 16.9.

The Career Service of JGU and the Haus des Erinnerns (German for ‘House of Remembrance’) want to change that. We are looking for motivated students from all disciplines and study programs to join our international and interdisciplinary project “Queer Life.” Together, we want to uncover hidden histories of queer people from your region and create and implement a workshop that helps educate audiences about their lives and struggles and share these ‘untold’ or ‘forgotten’ stories.

Questions about identity, gender, sexual orientation, and what society calls 'cultural norms' are currently hot topics worldwide. But the struggles of queer people is not a recent issue – they had to navigate between discrimination and empowerment long before the word queer was even established in this context. Still, many of their stories remain untold.
