Kampus keskella Suomea

The oldest buildings on the Seminaarinmäki campus date from the 1880's. More than seventy years later, in the 1950's and 1960's, began a new period of intensive construction. The result is a unique architectural whole, a campus in the heart of the city. Over the last few decades, the University of Jyväskylä has extended its grounds with two new campus areas on the opposing banks of Lake Jyväsjärvi.
