Methods Festival 21.-22.5.2013

The third Methods Festival in Finland was organized on the University of Jyväskylä Mattilanniemi campus on 21 - 22 May 2013.
The Festival brings together leading international and national experts across a wide range of disciplines to raise issues and discuss current topics and themes in research methodology. The two-day Festival aims at engaging researchers, doctoral students and methodology teachers alike to develop their skills and knowledge. Furthermore, it provides opportunities for joint discussion and debate.
There were also several pre- and post-festival courses available.

Our international speakers were Joop Hox (Utrecht University, Holland), Michael D. Myers (University of Auckland, New Zealand), Anne Ryen (Agder University, Norway) and Edith de Leeuw (Utrecht University, Holland).
The Methods Festival was planned in cooperation with the University of Tampere, Tampere University of Technology, and the University of Turku and their methods centres or fields of know-how.
