What does a moose have in common with a garden box? Sustainable management of social-ecological systems
Moose hunting and urban gardening may seem worlds apart, yet both reveal how everyday resource users shape sustainability. From managing wildlife populations to cultivating small boxes and plots, these practices highlight the importance of social dynamics, cooperation, and ecological awareness in building resilient communities.
Join us for an open conversation on how hunters and gardeners alike contribute to sustainable futures. We aim to make the Coffee Conversations more interactive, so you’ll get to jump in along the way, share your thoughts, and help steer the discussion (though you may also just listen if that's what you prefer). The goal is to leave not just with new insights, but also with connections and inspiration from each other.
