The Active University project, together with the University of Jyväskylä, has purchased new table tennis and foosball tables for the university.

Chair of the University Collegium, Professor Kaisa Miettinen has been appointed as a vice rector of the University of Jyväskylä as of 15 August 2024. The Collegium elected Professor Tommi Kärkkäinen as the new chairperson from 15 August 2024.
