Humanities at the University of Jyväskylä was positioned 176–200 among the world’s best universities.

The University of Jyväskylä slightly improved its position from the last year in the US-based Best Global Universities ranking. JYU was ranked 433rd globally and 195th among European universities. Last year the respective positions were 457 and 210.

The tenth Conferment of Degrees Ceremony for new Masters and Doctors from all faculties of the University of Jyväskylä will be held on 24–26 May 2019. Registration is open until 1 February 2019.
