MONS1001 Multimodal discourse studies (5 cr)
Learning outcomes
After completing the course students will be able to
- critically discuss approaches to multimodality
- examine meaning-making from a multimodal perspective
- design and carry out a small-scale research project on a topic of students’ own choice

Content
This course explores the multimodality and diversity of meaning-making in different social and mediated settings. Perspectives and tools for analysing multimodal data will be introduced and discussed.
