After-arrival info and Q&A session

The after-arrival info and Q&A sessions are held in person on campus. The content is the same each month and follows the topics on the After-arrival arrangements page. Please attend the earliest session after your arrival in Jyväskylä. No registration is needed.

Before the session, you may join an optional 30-minute tour of the Jyväskylä University Library / Open Science Centre and its services for students and researchers. We'll meet in the main lobby of the Library Lähde building at 09:00. See Maps and visitor information for directions.

The info and Q&A session begins after the tour, around 9:30, at the location listed in the following table.

Both the tour and the session will be held in English.

What to expect

• Practical guidance on the steps needed when settling in Finland.
• Information on Finnish language studies from Movi (Centre for Multilingual Academic Communication).
• Experiences shared by an international colleague who has already relocated to Finland.
• Opportunity to meet other newcomers.
