Kaisu Lankinen, Principal Investigator, Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging, Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School: "Spatiotemporal characterization of human auditory pathways — role of feedforward and feedback influences"
Dr. Kaisu Lankinen is a neuroscientist with a background in biomedical engineering, specializing in advanced neuroimaging techniques such as 7 T fMRI, MEG/EEG, TMS, and computational modeling. Her recent research focuses on the functions of the auditory cortex, particularly the feedforward and feedback processes involved in sensory-specific and cross-sensory processing. Additionally, she has explored the relationship between speech production and perception.
The idea of BrainTalks seminars is to bring together and facilitate interaction among researchers from various fields with interest in human behavior and brain. Time is reserved for questions and discussion. Warmly welcome!
