Microsoft Copilot is available to all members of the University of Jyväskylä (JYU) community, including staff, students, and grant-funded researchers. See the instructions.


The training session will take place on Friday 18th September from 9.00 to 11.00 in Teams. No prior knowledge or experience of using Copilot is required to take part in the training.


The session will provide a practical introduction to Microsoft Copilot’s conversation features. We will go through and practice together:

  • How Copilot Chat works and what you can use it for
  • Practical examples of different roles and tasks
  • Tips for effective question formulation, i.e. prompting
  • Ways to use Copilot in everyday work

The training is intended for JAMK and JYU staff and degree students, as well as doctoral researchers and grant researchers.

The webinar session will be recorded. The trainers are experts from SoftwareOne.
