Quasiclassics (also known as the kinetic equations) is a leading theoretical formalism for studying transport and other phenomena in quantum materials, such as superconductors. This course gives a practical introduction to the formalism, with lectures given by an all star cast of world experts in the field from the University of Jyväskylä, including a special guest lecture by Sebastian Bergeret (CSIC, San Sebastian). All lectures are 30 minutes long and will be recorded, followed by a discussion which will not be recorded. Recordings and lecture notes will be made available online at the end of the course.

All are welcome to attend, but the course is intended for PhDs and postdocs with a good foundation of quantum mechanics.

This is an informal course and there are no credits and no homework. The schedule can be found below.
