In this workshop, participants will get acquainted with the Japanese tradition of furoshiki, an environmentally friendly way of wrapping and carrying items. You will have the opportunity to try different wrapping techniques in small groups with guidance from instructors. If you like, bring along any square-shaped piece of fabric, such as a scarf. Fabrics will also be available to borrow on site.

The workshop is suitable for anyone aged approximately 8 years and older. You may drop in at any time between 5:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., according to your own schedule. Trying out the techniques takes about 10–15 minutes.
