We recommend that participants arrive in Jyväskylä on Tuesday 25 August 2026 for our pre-conference introductory session and informal evening get‑together.
While the primary focus of the conference is on the Nordic-Baltic countries, we warmly welcome international speakers and participants for the valuable perspectives they bring, and to offer them the opportunity to gain insights into adult skills-related research and policy in the region. The language of the event is English.
The Organising Committee of the conference is now calling for abstract submissions. Participants are invited to submit abstract proposals for oral and poster presentations. The deadline for abstracts is 30 April 2026 at 23:59 (UTC+2).
The conference is organised by the Nordic-Baltic PIAAC Network and the Nordic Network for Lifelong Learning (NLL). It is funded by the Nordic Council of Ministers, NLL, EPALE - Electronic Platform for Adult Learning in Europe and the University of Jyväskylä.
