Cooperation between the seminary and the Jyväskylä parish has been essential in the history of the Finnish Christmas tradition. The seminary and its active musical life inspired the Finnish-language Christmas songs for schools and choirs.
The performers will be music education students and the Vox Aurea choir directed by Sanna Salminen. The event will be hosted by Erja Kosonen, organ accompaniment by Piia Laasonen. The event will also include a Christmas greeting by parish pastor Miika Mäkinen.
At the end of the event, participants will have the opportunity to make a donation to Finn Church Aid.
