The event will include a panel discussion with the management of the higher education institutions and representatives of staff and students:

  • Rectors Jari Ojala and Vesa Saarikoski
  • Vice Rectors Marja-Leena Laakso, Pasi Raiskinmäki, Minna-Maaria Hiekkataipale and Mika Karjalainen
  • staff representatives Pia Piispanen and Matti Leppäniemi
  • student representatives Ismo Puhakka and Teemu Vasama

The topics of the panel discussion will be specified based on questions from staff and students. You can leave your questions when registering or by email to viestinta@jyu.fi.

After the discussion, we will enjoy coffee together in the Event space of the Paviljonki.

Places for the live event are limited. Registration for the event is open from 8 to 19 January 2026. Please note that registration is binding.
