In this episode, we go through the principles of prompting and using AI, and introduce the podcast series in more detail.

Brainstorming and planning the writing project

The aim of the brainstorming stage is to come up with and narrow down a topic for the text, increase your own understanding of the topic before searching for information, and draw up a schedule and process steps for the writing project.

Information retrieval and sources

The aim of the information search stage is to formulate a research question and come up with search terms to use in the information search, find and select suitable sources for your own text, read the sources, and collect information.

Drafting

The aim of the drafting stage is to to organize your thoughts and ideas into a completely coherent, finished plan, to plan the structure and content of the text in more detail, and possibly also to produce a rough draft.

Editing text and obtaining feedback

The purpose of editing the text and obtaining feedback is to ensure that the text is understandable and that its content and structure are effective, to obtain suggestions for improvement, to view your own text from an outside perspective, and to adjust the text to the desired length.

Finalizing

The aim of finalizing the text is to check that it is fluid, understandable, and in line with relevant language norms, and that the list of sources corresponds to the sources used in the text. In addition, you need to report on how AI was used in the writing process.
