The Summer University offers students of the University of Jyväskylä the opportunity to take courses that meet the academic requirements of other universities as part of their degree programme.
Bachelor's and master's students of the University of Jyväskylä may receive a discount on tuition fees for open university courses offered by the Summer University if the courses have been included in their individual study plan as part of their degree.
