Staff discount on JYU Open University study fees
The Open University grants a 100 percent discount on study fees to:
- JYU staff, part-time teachers, and hourly paid employees with an employment contract
- JYU Open University’s part-time teachers
- JYU grant researchers
- staff of collaborating institutions
- part-time teachers who teach courses based on JYU’s curriculum at collaborating institutions.
To receive a discount on the study fees, please do not register for studies directly. Instead, first contact the Continuous Learning Services team via the form Staff discount on open university study fees. Use the form to indicate which studies you wish to register for. Please note that we will only be able to confirm your registration once the course’s registration period is open. Therefore, please submit the form no earlier than the first day of the registration period. Also note that we cannot always guarantee a place on the course, especially in situations where the maximum number of participants has been reached.
