Business Networking Day 2026 brings students and businesses together
The University of Jyväskylä’s Business Networking Day will take place on Thursday 8 October 2026, starting at 9 am at the Paviljonki. The event offers students a unique opportunity to get to know companies from various sectors and potential employers, as well as to gain advice on their own career paths.
During the day, you can explore organisations in the exhibition area, listen to talks on topical themes and network with both researchers and businesses.
The event features six themed speaking sessions, including a keynote speech and short ‘elevator pitches’ from businesses and researchers. The themes are
- AI and Data-Driven Decision-Making
- Disruptive Technologies
- Well-Being and Demographic Change
- Climate, Environment, and Green Transition
- Comprehensive Security Solutions Providing Resilience
- Collaboration as a Foundation for Innovations.
Pre-register
Participation in the Business Day is free of charge for JYU and Jamk students, but you must register for the event. Pre-registration is recommended, as it ensures quick and smooth entry. By registering, you’ll also gain access to the networking app, where you can get to know interesting organisations even before the event.
Pre-registration for students is open until the day of the event.
