Contact teaching necessary to achieve learning outcomes can start in a controlled manner. Upon a decision of the vice dean responsible for education or the director of independent institute, it is possible to arrange necessary contact teaching by following special security arrangements. This applies to, for example, laboratory teaching, field courses, teaching practice and teaching that is pedagogically impossible or difficult to arrange as distance learning.

From 15 February 2021, research activities can continue according to the research permits granted earlier. New research permits will follow earlier approval practices. The vice rector responsible for research and innovations will make decisions on innovation activities that involve test subjects from outside the university.

To continue operations on the campus, everyone must follow the recommendations of health authorities. The most important safety actions are to use the face mask and take care of safe distances and hygiene.
