Data added to the Sisu system

In this week we have supplemented the data content of the Sisu information system and organised sessions to collect feedback and offer practical support to students and staff. We are doing all we can to help students and staff to use the new system and get familiar with new procedures.

Almost all data that was lacking last week has now been transferred to Sisu. Some study rights or study performances of a couple of dozen students are still lacking. The matter is currently dealt with. If you believe any of your data is missing, please contact the Sisu info sisu-info@jyu.fi.

If you have had problems in registering for a course and the registration has failed for some reason, you can go to the first lesson and ensure from the teacher if you can participate in the course. If yes, your registration can be corrected afterwards.

You can send feedback about the Sisu system with this form. User feedback helps us to recognise key problems in the system and its introduction. We will make changes to streamline the system as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, the Sisu support email sisu-info@jyu.fi of Student and Academic Services is jammed and there is a delay in the processing of messages. We will answer messages as soon as possible and strengthen support services.

Sisu instructions to students

Sisu is the new study information system of JYU. Study planning and registration for studies take place in Sisu. In addition to the system, also procedures change. The purpose of the renewal is to guide students to plan their studies in more detail and ensure fluent progress of studies. Sisu is developed in cooperation with other universities.
