IMDPs available in all faculties – electronic attachments streamline the application process
When measured in the number of applicants, the most popular international IMDPs have been in the fields of economics and education. In addition, JYU has English-medium IMDPs in humanities and social sciences, information technology, sport and health sciences and natural sciences. The newest English-medium MDP is the Music and Science programme of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, which will be implemented as bilingual (Finnish - English).
The extent of two-year Master’s degree programmes is 120 ECTS credits and they are available for applicants with a suitable Bachelor’s degree from Finland or elsewhere. An applicant must prove skills in English in a manner described in the admission criteria of the IMDP. In the application phase of the application round of 2023, it is possible to submit all the educational documents and attachments required for the application as electronic versions, which streamlines the application process considerably.
