Five tips for Researchers’ Night – Visit at least these!

Last-minute tips for Researchers’ Night – Visit at least these:
1. What is freshwater pearl mussel? What are tardigrades? What birds can do? What happens in the bug lab? In the Ambiotica building, there are plenty of amazing things for those interested in biology. From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
2. Get moving! In the Liikunta building, you can find acrobatic feats, applied sports, and weighty knowledge about health, wellbeing and ageing. From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
3. Come and sense the miraculous world of music in the Musica building. Dance in the silent disco or evaluate the feelings raised by music and participate in a study at the same time! You can also experience a concert of medieval music. From 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
4. Are you interested in retro games? Have you always wanted to try out VR glasses? If robots and artificial intelligence are your thing, head for the Agora lobby from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
5. Come to the Nanoscience Center and find out what nanoscience is all about! Learn about the laboratories, watch exciting demos, and hear interesting lectures. Participate in a virus chase and learn how colours are formed! From 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
… And plenty of other things, including earlier favourites such as the colourful chemistry experiments and the particle accelerator tour!
Researchers’ Night is arranged on Friday, 29 September on JYU campuses, and there is plenty of activities throughout the day. In the Friday evening, the green Linkki buses of Jyväskylän Liikenne offer free transport from 6 p.m. to midnight, so it is easy to come to the campus.
