Hobby activities and subject association activities possible in JYU facilities from 14 February
The authority regulations for organising event and hobby activities have loosened.

Hobby and free time activities (e.g. gyms and hobby groups) will be opened from 14 February. University also enables more extensive facility bookings for subject associations. Hobby group instructors and event organisers are responsible for that general safety instructions are observed during the activities. The users of gyms must ensure sufficient distancing and good hygiene, for example, with gym equipment. There still is a limitation of 50 persons per facility.
The coronavirus management team will review the policies next time on 16 February. For example, occupancy limitations related to the use of facilities will be reviewed then.
