Join a study and help develop a behavior-change support app for managing digital use
Recovio is a mobile application developed by the OASIS Research Group at the University of Oulu to support university students who want to build healthier digital habits. The study examines how persuasive software features in the application may influence users’ behavior and perceptions.
Participation is open to any interested university student. To participate, a student needs to:
- have an Android smartphone to download Recovio, and
- be able to use the application in English.
If you are interested, you can read more and participate via Webropol.
Participation is entirely voluntary. Participants are expected to use the application freely over a period of four weeks and complete three short online questionnaires (about 10 minutes each). It is possible to withdraw at any time without giving a reason and without any consequences.
The study is supervised by Professor Harri Oinas-Kukkonen and funded through the PerFeat project (Research Council of Finland). If you have any questions, please feel free to contact doctoral researcher Hasan Selkan Taskan at hasan.taskan@oulu.fi.
