JYU is preparing various support actions for Ukrainians

JYU is preparing various support actions for Ukrainian or other students who escape from the war and who have the right to pursue a degree in a Ukrainian university
Support actions include the following:
- opening separate study rights
- establishing two additional groups in Integra studies

The Open University makes its whole course offering available without charge, excluding studies that require application and admission, and opens study places for the free basic studies of Finnish as a second language.
Support actions are also prepared for researchers trying to get away from Ukraine. More information on the support actions will be provided as they proceed.
JYU has zero tolerance for discrimination and hate speech and it is possible to apply for future studies and employment relationships regardless of nationality.
JYU cooperates closely with other Finnish universities and universities of applies science, the Ministry of Education and Culture, the Finnish National Agency for Education and the Academy of Finland in the preparation of national support actions and policies.
