JYU student or staff member! Share your views on AI guidelines in higher education

The use of AI in studies is increasing rapidly, and there is growing public debate about how it should be used. Higher education institutions have responded by developing their own AI guidelines. We invite you to join a study where you will evaluate AI guidelines developed collaboratively by students at the University of Turku. We will also ask for your views on your own institution’s AI guidelines.

The study is open to staff and students at Finnish universities and universities of applied sciences, excluding the University of Turku.

Take the short survey here (in Finnish only)

Completing the survey takes approximately 15 minutes.

Four iPads will be given away through a prize draw among respondents – two for staff and two for students. Participation in the draw is voluntary.

The survey is open until 28 January 2027. The draw will take place on 29 January 2027, and the winners will be contacted directly.

The study is conducted by the Research Group for Innovating Democracy at the University of Turku as part of the Advancing Digital Democratic Innovation (ADDI) project, funded by the European Research Council (ERC). The findings can support higher education institutions in developing their AI guidelines and in engaging students in the process.
