JYU.Wisdom calculates emissions of the University of Jyväskylä – Please answer a survey

JYU.Wisdom assesses emissions from student and staff commuting and travels, as a part of a larger Sustainability for JYU research project addressing the climate and biodiversity impacts of JYU. The commuting emissions will be estimated via a survey. Please participate in the survey here.

The survey takes approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. By answering this survey, you contribute to the assessment of the university's total emissions and to the completion of master's and doctoral theses based on the survey results.

Sustainability for JYU research project supports the strategic goal of our University to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030. In addition to the survey, JYU.Wisdom evaluates climate and biodiversity impacts by utilizing the University’s bookkeeping accounts and other sources, and provides suggestions to mitigate and offset the impacts for the Sustainable & Responsible JYU working group.

All students, doctoral students and grant researchers answering the survey have a chance to win a week’s lunch (=5 lunch coupons) to Semma campus restaurants.
