First the good news
The autumn application round, which has just ended, was very successful again – thank you all 92 students and 46 locals!
As there are twice as many students as locals, we have decided to extend the application period until 21 September. So you still have time to apply - especially locals, you are warmly welcome and needed.
Then the bad ones
Unfortunately we came across with a very unpleasant surprice with the web form. Between Aug 29 00:01 and Aug 31 23:59 we received 25 applications of which seven students and nine locals remained anonymous, the applications did not contain any contact information for same sad reason. This means we do not know who sent us the 16 applications. If you sent your application within that time window, please, contact us at localfriendship(at)jyu.fi, thank you!
