Recorded Lectures Now Available from the Hybrid Seminar on Nordic Learning Environment Design in Reykjavík (April 2026)
Our LED Nordic lecture series Youtube playlist provides an opportunity to familiarise with transdisciplinary Nordic Learning Environment Design and Research from the perspectives of researchers, education providers (municipalities and educational institutions) and pedagogical, industrial and architectural designers and consultants. It now includes (1) lectures that were originally published as part of our Multidisciplinary perspectives on Learning Environment Design ("MultiLED") project and (2) lectures from the closing LED Nordic Hybrid Seminar on Nordic Learning Environment Design held in Reykjavik in April 2026. This work is part of Nordplus Horizontal 2024 funded project Impact of Learning Environment Design on Teaching, Learning, and Wellbeing: A Nordic Perspective ("LED Nordic"). The project is coordinated by the Innovative Learning Environments research group at the Finnish Institute for Educational Research, University of Jyväskylä. It includes partners and collaborators from all nordic countries. To learn more about the project, an open-access publication on lessons learned during 2024–2026 regarding the impact of learning environment design on teaching, learning, and wellbeing in the Nordic region will be published in Autum 2026.
