The Business Networking Day offers a unique opportunity to get to know companies from various sectors, find opportunities for research collaboration and gain inspiration for your own career path. As well as exploring the exhibition area, you can listen to talks throughout the day on topical themes such as artificial intelligence, transformative technologies, wellbeing and the climate.

You can turn up at the event on the day, but it’s worth registering in advance. Pre-registration ensures quick and smooth entry, and you’ll also gain access to the Eventos App networking platform. The Eventos App allows you to discover organisations of interest even before the event and arrange meetings in advance. In the app, you can view the organisations and speakers taking part in the fair, as well as the day’s schedule. You can add details about yourself to your profile and specify your areas of interest. From the ‘Meetings’ tab, you can arrange meetings with contacts of interest for the day of the event.

Looking for a job or a topic for your thesis?

At the event, you’ll recognise organisations offering opportunities by the signs reading ‘We’re looking for you’. Are you nervous about meeting the presenters? You can prepare for the Business Day by considering the following, for example:

  • Find out about the organisations taking part in the event. Which of them could be potential employers for you in the future or partners for your thesis project?
  • Can you think of any questions you might ask, for example, regarding an organisation’s product development, processes, production, human resources, management or corporate social responsibility?
  • Feel free to approach the organisations present at their stands or after their talks. Every company and organisation needs employees and is always on the lookout for new talent, so now is a brilliant opportunity for you to explore your options.

P.S. The first 100 students to arrive at the event will receive a free lunch. So it’s well worth arriving early!
