- Expect some delightful "chemistry" as we mix the elements of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics to spark your curiosity.
17:15 - 17:45: Scissors Project: Interactive Book Launch and Project Results
- We'll explore how bridging social competences and science education can supercharge student engagement.
17:45 - 18:15: Scrappies Project: Interactive Book Launch and Project Results
- Discover the transformative power of scrap materials with the Scrappies Project, where everyday items become catalysts for sustainability and creative learning.
18:15 - 19:00: Uruguayan Mate Brewing Workshop with STEAM experts (with live music)
- Have you tried Uruguayan Mate? Dive into the science behind it! Join us for a sensory-rich experience featuring traditional Mate brewing and cooking demonstrations by Uruguayan and Finnish researchers from the FinnURUsteam project.
Join us for the launch of two new books from the Scissors and Scrappies projects, while enjoying Uruguayan mate and snacks and engaging with the authors from across the globe! 🙂
19:00 - Onwards: Build and Boogie: A STEAM Celebration (Venue: Behind Agora by the lake)
Geodesic Dome Building:
Roll up your sleeves and participate in constructing a giant geodesic dome using 4D Frame kits. This hands-on activity will have you connecting pieces to form a robust structure, showcasing the geometric wonders of engineering and art.
Music Jam Session:
Join us for a live jam session! Bring your instruments or just your enthusiasm as we create a rhythmic celebration of creativity and collaboration!
