I am a researcher specialising in the history of philosophy in the Islamic world, with a focus on post-Avicennian thought and the Ṣadrian tradition as foundations of contemporary Islamic philosophy. My work addresses questions in psychology, epistemology, metaphysics, and philosophical theology. I am based at the University of Jyväskylä, where I am currently pursuing two major projects: one on Mullā Ṣadrā’s philosophical psychology and its historical sources, and another on ʿAllāma Ṭabāṭabāʾī. The latter, a book project, examines Ṭabāṭabāʾī’s theories of self and subjectivity, and situates his engagement with Western philosophy and its postcolonial reception within his broader philosophical project.
