Introduction
MEd. (Early Childhood Education), PhD researcher
At the Kokkola University Consortium Chydenius, I teach a wide range of subjects in the fields of educational sciences, early childhood education and special education as part of the special education teacher training programme, as well as in blended learning programmes for early childhood education teachers and primary school teachers. My work also involves planning online and face-to-face teaching, assessing students’ performance and supervising degree students.
Alongside my teaching work, I am conducting research for my doctoral thesis on the topic of ‘Art education as a builder of social cohesion and inclusion in childhood education’. The research is being carried out partly as part of the EU-funded Dialoguing Arts (D@rts) project.
