Biography

I am university teacher in museology in the Open university of the University of Jyväskylä and at the department of music, arts and culture studies. 

Research interests

I have PhD in Ethnology (2011, University of Jyväskylä) and a Title of docent (2019, University of Turku). I am specialized in the study of Finnish gender history with methods and materials of oral history, media studies and archival research. I have studied history of the women's wearing of trousers, history of Finnish second-wave activism and history of Finnish women's magaizines.
