Biography
I am a doctoral researcher at the Jyväskylä University School of Business and Economics, with an MSc in rural development. My research interests lie at the intersection of society, management, and organization. Currently, my focus is on exploring how historical legacies and power dynamics shape sustainability transitions in agrifood systems, with specific emphasis on just transion in Sub-Saharan Africa.
With approximately five years of experience in startup and business consulting, along with a background in agricultural economics, I bring a diverse skill set to my research. I prioritize an interdisciplinary approach, aiming to contribute to intellectual phenomena with real-life implications and impacts for societal development.
Research interests
My research explores how historical legacies (heritage) and power dynamics shape the sustainability transition in agrifood systems. Specifically, it aims to unravel the subtle yet profound footprints of power dynamics in the intricate interplay between heritage and sustainability in order to drive a just transition.
