Biography

I help organizations and policymakers translate sustainability expectations into practical approaches. My research focuses on how businesses can effectively manage environmental and human rights responsibilities.

My areas of expertise include business and human rights, sustainability and responsible business practices.

I am a Doctoral Researcher at the University of Jyväskylä School of Business and Economics (JSBE). With Master's degrees in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Jyväskylä and in International and Comparative Law from the University of Helsinki, I bring an interdisciplinary perspective that connects business, law and sustainability.

My current research examines how SMEs make sense of environmental and human rights due diligence and what kinds of support mechanisms help businesses meet sustainability expectations. I have contributed to sustainability initiatives at the EU, national, and local levels and regularly engage with business and public sector to understand the practical challenges of responsible business conduct.

In addition to research, I developed and teach the course Human Rights, Business and the Environment, helping future business professionals navigate the complex relationship in the intersection of these areas.

I welcome opportunities to collaborate with businesses, public organizations, and other stakeholders interested in advancing responsible and sustainable business practices.
