I work as a project researcher in the Finnish Network for Language Education Policies (www.kieliverkosto.fi) in University of Jyväskylä, in Centre for Applied Language Studies (CALS). I've been coordinating the network since 2017. Starting at autumn 2025, I will be working on my PhD so my colleague will coordinate the network during that time.
In June 2025 I started as a project researcher in a project called Kieliasenteet ja -ideologiat Suomessa (Language Awareness and Ideologies in Finland, LAIF) in which I will collect data for my PhD. My PhD research is about teachers who use Finnish as a second language in the Finnish basic education. I do my PhD in Department of Language and Communication Studies, in Finnish language.
