Biography
From Catania, Sicily, Italy. I have obtained my Master and PhD at the University of Catania, and now I work as a PostDoctoral resarcher at the University of Jyväskylä, Department of Physics
Research interests
My research interests lie in the study of Quantum-Chromodynamics and heavy-ion collisions. In particular, I have focused on transport coefficients (shear and bulk viscosity, heavy-quark diffusion) in the Quark-Gluon Plasma, quasi-particle models of the QCD equation of state, as well as the properties of charm and beauty quarks in the pre-equilibrium stage of high energy nuclear collisions.
