I work in two research projects: Media and Robot Literacies of People Over 65 Years of Age (MediaRoboLit 65+, 2023–2027) and Grey Zones and Boundaries: Service Pathways and Division of Labour in Gerontological Social Work (Katve, 2026–2027). Currently, I study older adults´ service pathways to gerontological social work, and the grey zones connected to those service pathways. In addition, I research the use of social robots in the context of care homes.
I am interested in the following research topics: ageing policies and discourses, human geography and the concepts of space and place, and ageing and technology. In my research, I apply qualitative methods, like discourse analysis, rhetorical analysis and institutional ethnography.
