Biography
Jiawen Wu (MSc(Admin.), MSocSc, LLM), a doctoral researcher at the Jyväskylä University School of Business and Economics, University of Jyväskylä, Finland. Drawing on a professional background in the higher education sector, Jiawen has previously served as an international cooperation manager in China and an education export specialist in Finland. Furthermore, Jiawen is a graduate of MARIHE, an Erasmus Mundus programme dedicated to higher education research and innovation.
Jiawen's research interests lie at the dynamic intersection of organization and institution within the higher education field. He has a strong theoretical interest in institutional theory and classical pragmatism. Currently, his doctoral research focuses on collaborative networks of internationalization, particularly examining how pilot networks conduct global cooperation and inquire internationalization in the Finnish higher education context.
