Biography
I am an experimental nuclear physicist working in the Nuclear Spectroscopy Group at the Accelerator Laboratory. My research focuses on the study of shape coexistence in atomic nuclei using a variety of experimental techniques, including conversion-electron spectroscopy, gamma-ray spectroscopy, Doppler-shift lifetime measurements, and transfer-reaction studies.
In addition to my work at the Accelerator Laboratory, I am actively involved in radioactive ion beam experiments at ISOLDE, CERN. My research aims to improve our understanding of the behaviour of the nuclear matter by studying exotic nuclei far from the stability .
Currently, I am working on the development and commissioning of the MARA-LEB facility, which will be operated in conjunction with the MARA recoil separator. MARA-LEB will provide unique opportunities for nuclei produced in fusion-evaporation reactions.
