Kati Pajunen

I am Senior Lecturer in financial accounting. I graduated from the University of Eastern Finland (UEF) with a Doctoral Degree in 2010. My dissertation focused on International Financial Reporting Standards from the perspective of the Finnish accounting thought. I have worked in several teaching positions, including JSBE (2003-2004), UEF (2004-2013), and LUT university (2017-2020), where I was also an acting professor (2017-2018). In addition to the academic career, I have gained practical work experience in the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority (2013-2015), where I worked on IFRS enforcement. I have also a Master’s degree in social sciences.
