Biography
My expertise focuses on music and arts education, teacher education, pedagogy, and research-based educational development. My particular areas of expertise include teaching and research in arts education and music education, arts-based and creative approaches, and their application across diverse pedagogical and educational contexts. My expertise also encompasses the development of teacher education and curricula, pedagogical studies for music subject teachers, and broad expertise in pedagogy and didactics. I supervise master’s theses and doctoral dissertations and actively engage in national and international research and professional networks.
Research interests
My research brings together music education, educational sciences, and interdisciplinary arts research. It advances conceptual understanding of arts education as a field that fosters creativity, cultural agency, and transformative learning across diverse educational contexts and learning environments.
