Maija works as a postdoctoral researcher in a research project (2025–2027) Sustainable career paths in the Defence Forces: attractiveness and adaptability, funded by the Defence Forces Support Foundation.

Research areas are organisational sustainability, sustainability transformation, B Corp Movement
