Biography

I am a Master of Health Sciences and Sport Sciences, physiotherapist, and sports massage therapist. Currently I work as a research assistant and doctoral researcher, with a background in teaching within the field of exercise, rehabilitation and health sciences, as well as experience in coaching and lecturing.

My research focuses on the interaction between the central nervous system and physical exercise, with the aim of understanding how neuromuscular function, strength production, and motor performance can be developed to enhance functional capacity.

I have a particular interest in combining research and practice, translating scientific knowledge into applicable methods for both athletic performance and general population health.

My methodological approach includes electromyography (EMG), transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), balance assessments, and functional performance testing to investigate neuromuscular function and adaptation.

Currently, I am preparing a study examining the effects of flywheel and pneumatic device training on functional capacity, with a focus on its underlying neural mechanisms.
